The Singapore Writers Festival is back in town in November, and I’m participating for the first time since 2011! As I said then, there are gems to be found at the festival, but the website is *really* hard to navigate. I’m waiting for the PDF program to be released so that I can decide which events to attend.

- Discussing writing with AND writing about postpartum depression in Singapore on Saturday, November 12 at 5:30PM at The Play Den (The Arts House);
- Conducting a storytelling and art workshop for 7 to 9 year olds and their caregivers on Saturday, November 5 at 1:30PM at the SWF3 Tent (Empress Lawn);
- Moderating a conversation with Fynn Jamal, a Malaysian writer, singer, educator, and adoptive mother on Saturday, November 5 at 4PM at The Play Den (The Arts House). (I’m not at all part of an adoptive triad, but my friend Melanie Lee, an adoptive parent, entrusted me with moderating this conversation because she can’t. I’m honored, and I will try to be the best ally!)
All my events are free or nominal in cost ($10 for the workshop), so come by and say hello!
