A Naiise Christmas Pop-up Store

Several weeks ago, a friend asked where she might find affordable prints for her new apartment. I directed her to Naiise, a Singapore-based online curated marketplace. It has become my favored destination for carefully chosen, well-designed, quality goods across a variety of price points.

I’ve long been a fan of Naiise‘s pop-up stores; their Christmas event runs from November 15 to Christmas Eve in two restored shophouses on Dunlop Street. The shop features a retail space carrying a selection of Naiise‘s wares; ceramics, letterpress, and silkscreen printing workshops; and a “cafe” featuring a fresh menu each week created in partnership with the city’s most innovative restaurants.

Naiise has also partnered with Club Rainbow to grant Christmas wishes for one hundred children who are suffering from chronic and life-threatening illnesses. Club Rainbow provides a range of free services including counseling and free tuition at Rainbow Family Care Centre and bedside tuition for children warded at the KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and National University Hospital. “Wishes” are displayed in the store’s Christmas tree.
