Let’s Bind a Book and Have Fun with Crafts! at Tampines Regional Library

nac-679x342Join The Thistle Bindery and other artists* for Let’s Bind a Book and Have Fun with Crafts!, an all-day bookbinding journey in celebration of Tampines Regional Library’s birthday, on Saturday, December 6! Let’s Bind a Book and Have Fun with Crafts! is part of artSEEN, a year-long visual arts program sponsored by the National Library Board and the National Arts Council.

Get your hands busy with paper crafts, bookbinding, and sketching in the foyer and enjoy a slew of other fun arts activities, such as wayang kulit, or shadow puppet, making, in the library from 11am to 4:30pm.

This programme is free and suitable for children 5 years and older. No pre-registration is required; all spots are on a first come first served basis.

FYI: The Thistle Bindery’s [A Bookbinding Cause] series of workshops introduces budding book artists to various traditional hand bookbinding techniques. Ian’s November and December workshops are now open for registration. Proceeds from [A Bookbinding Cause] are donated to Loving Heart.
