Bukurama Handmade Books

I recently reconnected with a former book arts student, S.T. Leng. He helms his design studio, Studioleng, by day, and designs and produces hand-bound books, under the label Bukurama Handmade Books, by night. And what exquisite books he produces! I spent hours on his blog last night admiring his eye for color and steady handiwork. Do bookmark it; he writes about his artistic inspirations, provides resources for aspiring book artists in Singapore, and showcases his latest creations. Bukurama Handmade Books’ sister blog, design spotlight, highlights art, craft, and design in Southeast Asia. Bookmark it, too!

He tells me that his passion for the book arts “all started [with] that class I took with you [at BooksActually in 2011].” Words like that, of course, make this teacher’s heart soar!
