Bookbinding Workshop with Kay Hui at The Daily Scoop

A public service announcement… more bookmaking in Singapore!

The Little Happyshop hosts my friend, Kay Hui, coffee lover, food stylist, and photographer (and author of On the Crumb Trail), on July 14. Kay’s class will cover the kettle, or chain, stitch and the art of gluing fabric over board.

It’s not a beginners’ class and students who took my November 2011 “Ribbon-Tied Multi-Signature Journal” class would greatly benefit from the new skills they’d acquire from Kay. SG$89.00 per person, which includes tools, paper, and fabric. A 5% early bird discount is valid through June 29.

Kay is a former bookmaking student of mine and I’m overjoyed she’s spreading the gospel of the book arts here in Singapore. Her artsy/crafty talents are on full display at All Things Beautiful by Kay and at KayHui.com.
