What I See When I Run by Francis Ooi

In photography, the smallest thing can be a great subject.

—Henri Cartier-Bresson

Francis Ooi’s started taking photographs of Singapore’s varied and unique flora while on his runs. His Tumblr, What I See When I Run, is stunning and obsessive. He “hopes to create more awareness about conservation and help people appreciate the beauty of nature.”

A contemporary response to the William Farquhar Collection of Natural History Drawings, perhaps?

Four of his beautiful photographs can be found in his online shop.
