A few weeks ago, my friend, Imp, shared her latest purchase with me: a soft, impeccably made, leather clutch. She had picked it up at nana & bird, who recently hosted The J. Myers Company in their Tiong Bahru space.

The J. Myers Company, tucked away in bustling Chinatown, is not a retail space, but a workshop. “Not only do we hand-make all our leather goods, we also provide our customers with first-hand experience on how their leather goods are crafted,” explains Jeremiah Ang, founder and self-taught leather craftsman. Currently, The J. Myers Company produces iPhone cases, belts, wallets, camera straps, and tote bags.
Ang believes that well-crafted products “make people feel good” and invites you to come join him for coffee or tea in his workshop and experience it for yourself. The J. Myers Company is open by appointment only. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
