Also, in conjunction with Science Centre Singapore, at Senja-Cashew Community Centre, as part of Singapore Mini Maker Faire 2014, I’ll be conducting a cloth-covered portfolio-making workshop. We’ll be using luscious book cloth and beautiful Japanese Chiyogami papers to make a small portfolio, perfect for holding stationery, a stamp collection, wall paper samples, or pressed flowers or for carrying drawings, sheet music, or photographs.
The workshop will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 2:45pm to 4:15pm at Senja-Cashew Community Centre. SG$15 per participant; register here.

I will also be directing the production of a collaborative, book arts installation piece inspired by Singapore, cartography, and several folded book structures. The final product will the handiwork of all of you—everyone who choses to get involved. Come! No book making experience is necessary to participate.
