Bookmaking at Singapore Mini Maker Faire [UPDATED]

SMMF

I’m participating in Singapore Mini Maker Faire 2013!

“Part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new,” Maker Faire is a gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, artists, and students. The first Maker Faire was held in San Mateo, CA in 2006. “As Maker Faire has grown in popularity and relevance, additional flagship Faires were launched in 2010 in Detroit and New York City. Community-driven, independently produced Mini Maker Faire events inspired by Maker Faire are now being produced around the United States and the world.

I’ll be teaching a very unique concertina-spine structure that I learned from master book artist, Barbara Mauriello, on my most recent visit to the States. (I told her I was going to do so and she’s excited to see what you all make of it!)

The workshop will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm at *SCAPE Warehouse (2 Orchard Link). SG$10 per participant and pre-registration is required. Registration is closed. To be placed on the waiting list, please email your full name and phone number to contact.notabilia@gmail.com.
